Overview

Kingdee K/3 Management by Objective is intended for senior managers of enterprises. With the latest and most advanced concepts for enterprise performance management, the module uses Key Performance Indices (KPIs) and Balanced Scorecards (BSCs) flexibly, to carry out enterprise strategies, measure enterprise achievements, and implement enterprise performance management covering six key steps (setting a target, modeling forecast, planning budget, monitoring, analysis appraisal, and report). The module needs to work with other modules of K/3, to satisfy the requirements for objective-oriented management in different levels.

Functions

1.Enterprise strategy

In the module, you can formulate and enable enterprise strategies, including the enterprise vision and enterprise objective, to help an enterprise determine its future direction, objectives, and policies.

2.BSC

From the viewpoint of enterprise strategies, you can embed BSC KPIs and strategy maps in the module, to ensure effective execution of these strategies. The module provides risk management, which tracks and manages risks in the validity period according to BSCs of various organization units.

3.Strategy planning

The module provides Strategy Planning and Strategy Planning Execution for you to query key success factors, strategies and tasks of BSCs by organization units.

4.KPI

KPIs are detailed metrics for key success factors of BSCs. Setting up reasonable and feasible KPIs is the precondition and basis of successful objective-oriented management. KPIs are also the core of BSCs. In the KPI library of objective-oriented management, enterprises can define KPIs as required.

5.Analysis model design

The module provides a designer of decision-making analysis models. You can expand KPIs in a tree view according to KPI calculation relationships. The design process is simplified, and the designed analysis model can be displayed in the management portal, to help find out and settle down important strategy problems which are vital to enterprises in time.

6.Integration application

Integration with the data warehouse: The data warehouse can be used as the historical data source of Objective-Oriented Management to obtain multi-dimensional historical indices. These historical indices can serve as references for benchmark or variance determination, to help enterprises analyze KPIs.

Integration with Budget Management: The Budget Management module breaks down the forecast value of the KPI to prepare the budget, or takes the actual value of the KPI as the benchmark of budget-making, to drive the entire budget process from setting a target, modeling, forecast, planning, to budget-making.

Integration with K/3 modules: The module can use K/3 report data access formulas to obtain the latest indices from various modules and give traffic light alarms according to the preset tolerance value, to help decision-makers know the real-time status of enterprises, and to achieve the mechanism of monitoring, analysis, appraisal and reporting in Objective-Oriented Management.
